Will what I say be kept confidential?

Yes, I protect your confidentiality and privacy. There are certain situations which are legal exceptions in which I may need to break confidentiality, such as if yours or someone else's personal safety is at risk. I can clarify these exceptions to you at your first appointment.

How long are the sessions and how often do I have to attend?

Each session is 50 minutes long and sessions are weekly to ensure you have a regular time to talk about any problems you are experiencing and to help you make steady progress.

There may be times when you feel it would be beneficial for you to have a longer session time or an additional session in the week. We can discuss availability and a review as things start to improve for you.
